Dry fruits Gond Ladoo Recipes Made by Cow Ghee for Good Health and Immunity in Winter

Give the traditional gond ladoo a twist of good health and immunity. Gond is a kind of plant derives edible gum that has been enjoyed in traditinal Indian foods as it is believed to have medicinal values. To make this super delicious ladoo at home you just need a few simple ingredients such as gondh, wheat flour, desi ghee (Use desi cow ghee for good health), dry fruits and nuts. Its really easy to make this tasty nutritious laddu at home.

These laddus can be consumed by anybody but are very beneficial for lactating mothers and growing kids. These lovely, energetic and healthy laddus are eaten during winters with a 1 glass of milk, which provides warmth to the body due to the addition of wheat flour, gond and nuts. Gond ladoo are rich in iron, protein and calcium.

Steps for Gond Ladoo

  1. Heat a pan on low flame.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon ghee.
  3. Fry gond in ghee until lightly golden. Let it cool down completely. Powder the fry gond in mixer and keep aside.
  4. Fry dry roast peanuts in ghee until lightly golden and let it cool down completely. Powder the peanuts in mixer and keep it aside.
  5. Remove the seeds from dry dates and dry roast it for 2-3 minutes on low flame. Let it cool down completely. Powder the roasted dates in mixer and keep aside.
  6. Dry roast walnut kernels and powder it in mixer. Keep aside.
  7. Dry roast the dessicated coconut and keep aside.
  8. Dry roast the flax seeds and poppy seeds separately on low flame. Powder it in mixer.
  9. Now in a big bowl, take all the dry roasted and powdered ingredients together mix well.
  10. In the same pan, roast almonds, cashews, pistachios and makhana separately on low flame. Let them cool down. Crush with hands or in mortar.
  11. Heat 1 tsp ghee and roast kishmish and chironjee separately.
  12. Heat all the leftover ghee in a pan. Add wheat flour and roast till golden brown color.
  13. Add in the elaichi powder, nutmeg powder and boora.
  14. Quantity of dry fruits and sugar can be adjusted according to the taste.
  15. Mix everything very well and make lemon sized laddus.
